I'm pretty sure everyone here got a ton of emails from various companies about GDPR compliance the other week, so I thought it would be nice to wait until this week to send ours out ;)
For the newsletter (which I admit hasn't been so regular recently) it's pretty simple, if you don't wish to receive it anymore, simply hit the unsubscribe button which will be posted below and you'll be instantly out. If you just want to change your email address, then do this through the forum User Control Panel and that will update our sending system :)
As far as the GDPR in relation to forum posts when an account is deleted, it's not a case of deleting your account will remove your posts - it won't, they stay. However there is an option to anonymise them - this will remove your personal details from your profile, deactivate your email and change the username to something random. Of course, if you had posted up your phone number or email to a post - drop one of the moderators a line and we'll be happy to edit it for you.
